Sr. Process Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.     

The Process Engineer is responsible for developing new processes and procedures revolving around the development of new products or the implementation of new technologies. These processes will be tested and validated, then documented and rolled out to the production facilities. The process engineer will also aid in the assessment and improvement of existing processes to increase efficiencies within the production facilities.

  • Develop, configure and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start up and certification
  • Assist in the identification, procurement, and process flows for new manufacturing equipment in order to bring new products from benchtop to full-scale production.
  • Create Work instructions and procedures for new processes and process improvement
  • Scale up of new products from pilot testing to Commercialization
  • Helping create the technology and product roadmaps for future generation product
  • Using stage gate development and product concepts for project management
  • Identifying critical uncertainties, designing targeted experiments, rapidly building new prototypes, defining and assessing fitness-for-use, and driving commercialization and scale up
  • Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
  • Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Perform process simulations
  • Manage cost and time constraints
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.
This position requires up to 35% travel.
