Facility Manager
Primary responsibilities consist of maintaining facilities up to MedMen standards and repairs are completed with great efficiency. This position must communicate, organize and plan, using all the resources of the facility management team.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee facility management team
  • Assign work and oversee facilities staff to ensure repairs are completed quickly and accurately
  • Create and maintain a calendar for repairs.
  • Implement preventative maintenance program for cultivation, retail and office space (both locally and out of state)
  • Complete repairs across multiple sites quickly and effectively
  • Set up contracts with vendors to act in case of an after-hours emergency
  • Develop, track and adhere to a facility maintenance budget for all locations
  • Assist in transitioning new facilities from construction to maintenance stage
  • Organize and manage facilities upgrades
  • Solicit and evaluate bids for upgrades by evaluating proposals and completed work
  • Maintain relationships with store managers and cultivation heads to ensure that repairs and upgrades can be completed effectively
  • Visit stores frequently to ensure that they are still maintained at the MedMen standard
  • Communicate timelines for repairs and always strive toward improvement in response.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, with frequent early mornings and evenings. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Some travel may be required for projects nationally, but primarily local travel by vehicle within Los Angeles metro area is required.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational/technical training; and/or experience.
