Summary/Objective

Cultivation Manager works closely with the Director of Cultivation to create policies and procedures for cultivation department as well as oversees the daily operations process for multiple marijuana cultivation facilities.

  1. Scale, upgrade and optimize infrastructure consistent with anticipated growth, trends, needs, and requirements
  2. Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures Ensure all safety and quality standards are adhered to
  3. Design capable, scalable processes to consistently deliver optimal quality and yield Maintain accurate daily records of flower product during the different phases of the process
  4. Ensure overall crop management including purchasing inputs, monitoring, etc.
  5. Develop company cultivation methodology
  6. Motivate cultivation staff to meet set performance targets
  7. Ensure post-harvest work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with the company’s standard operating procedures
  8. Work closely with the rest of the Cultivation Department to improve processes and develop new best practices
  9. Ensure proper training and development of employees
  10. Maintain accurate inventory of tools and supplies
  11. Work closely with the Cultivation Supervisor to prepare weekly employee time and payroll
  12. Supervise all post-harvest activities

Required Education and Experience
  1. 5 or more years of managing day to day operations of industrial cropping facilities
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration Business Management, Horticulture, plant biology or related field.
 

Preferred Education and Experience
  1. Experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes and principles is preferred.
