Master Data Manager/ERP Manager

Summary/Objective
This position will lead the design, creation, building, deployment, and process analysis of the newly defined Master Data Team.  This role is hands-on and requires an individual with extensive knowledge of master data best practices within the scope of an ERP implementation.

  • Identifies critical attributes which must be included on all interfaces and masters
  • Cleanses legacy data to prepare for upcoming ERP implementation and identifies critical standardization needs
  • Ensures master data integrity in key systems and as well as maintaining the processes to support data quality
  • Identifies spheres of data quality issues and works to resolve all pending issues through error detection and appropriate corrective action
  • Ensures and maintains data quality and delivers documentation identifying best practices for maintenance
  • Works cross-functionally to define data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure accuracy
  • Defines new item induction process and socializes the process across the organization
  • Partners with IT to ensure alignment of master data governance
  • Translates business requirements from a BI perspective into data warehousing requirements
  • Coordinates software releases and enhancements as defined by the ERP enhancement schedule
  • Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs/SLAs that relate to the accuracy of master data
  • Responsible for supporting data related projects across the organization, including product launches/rationalization


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required in Supply Chain, Data Science, or Data Management with Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose a company’s master data needs and build an enterprise-wide capability to meet those needs
  • Experience implementing an Enterprise Resource Planning System
  • Five to seven years leading a supply chain or data focused team including building a master data solution for an enterprise global solution
  • Proven leader and motivator
  • Able to work cross-functionally in a matrix-driven organization
  • Project management experience delivering results on time and on budget
