Overview And Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a creative director in a consumer products environment, working with design, art direction, and brand initiatives, as well as have a network of relationships within the creative community. The VP Creative Director should have leadership and business skills, as well as a keen sense of style and passion for beautiful products, retail, and cannabis. 
  • Work with President/Co-Founder and CMO to establish a maintain and evolve the creative vision and tone that executes the brand communication strategy. Create tools and communications that relay this vision of MedMen to consumers
  • Lead the creative team (Design, Content, Copy, and Photography) and provide strategic vision championing the brand internally and externally 
  • This position is responsible for the direction of our creative for all channels. Create fully integrated campaigns that are executed through all our in-store, out-of-store and digital channels.
  • Oversee and develop the visual aesthetic of all MedMen marketing materials and assets 
  • Maintain consistency of MedMen brand identity: includes look and feel for all consumer-facing creative implemented for full campaigns (OOH, online, social, grassroots, email, print and all other platforms 
  • Lead and approve all creative briefs and final creative from designers and contractors/agencies.
  • Evolve the visual design of the website, pushing the aesthetic and user experience towards increased relevance, traffic, and ultimate product purchase
  • Responsible for creative research and ideation, including comparable campaigns, cues copy and concepts
  • Develop creative strategy presentations that show the development of digital concepts and usability 
  • 10+ years' professional creative design and advertising experience, including at least 5 years of management and branding / creative direction experience.
  • Must have experience in consumer products and packaging development
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Flexibility to work in a collaborative structure and ability to work across various departments and functions.
  • Huge passion for Cannabis being part of something special
