The Architect will work directly with the Director of Design and the President in order to craft internal design documents that will be shared with external architect teams for the creation of retail spaces, offices and more. This position must be filled with someone who has incredible attention to detail and is flexible and adaptable to design changes. This person should focus on the technical nature of the work – the goal is the realize the MedMen vision.
Essential Functions

  1. Draw up retails floor plans under the direction of the Director of Design
  2. Adapt design direction to meet building code
  3. Assist in the creation and the updating of the spec book
  4. Join in kick-off meetings with new architectural teams to get them acquainted with the MedMen vision
  5. Review construction drawing sets made by external architecture teams
  6. Develop ongoing relationships with exterior architect teams
  7. Coordinate with consultants on layouts
  8. Sign IDP hours for internal designers as they do drawings
  9. Create layouts for new compliance department as needed
  10. Advice on building codes and construction techniques
  11. Assist in the development of visual presentation materials – guiding the visual development assistant
  12. All other duties as designed

Required Education and Experience
  1. Architectural agree
  2. 10 years of experience minimum
  3. Architectural license
