The Draftsman assists the project managers in the creating the conceptual design for retail, cultivation and manufacturing space. Must be well versed in Revit and be an excellent communicator (in person and writing as much as drawing). 

Essential Functions

  • Communicate with other departments to create designs for new facilities (basic electrical, plumbing and architectural) 
  • Generate 2D drawings in Revit including: plans, sections, elevations and details, for design development and schematics 
  • Generate 3D models in Revit
  • Create renderings of models and furniture components 
  • Occasionally render 3D walkthroughs of space 
  • Assist in sourcing furniture components for the purpose of populating models
  • Optimize current Revit BIM to include pricing information and specs for equipment for all projects
  • Integrate facility equipment into Revit 
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers on drawings 
  • Create presentations for investors

Required Education and Experience  
  1. Associate’s degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, plus at least three years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
